The Spiritual Care Fellowship in Palliative Care is an intensive, year-long, online, cohort-based, palliative care fellowship program offered twice a year by the Spiritual Care Association (SCA).
A group of four to eight qualified board certified chaplains (BCC) will be selected to participate in this academically rigorous and best practice-informed educational and formational experience. Upon completion of the year-long program, fellows will demonstrate competency in intermediate or advance-level practice according to the competency guidelines for hospice and palliative care chaplains. They will also be prepared for specialty certification in hospice and palliative care chaplaincy with the various specialty certifying organizations.
The Spiritual Care Fellowship in Palliative Care will be offered twice per year, beginning in September and January each year.
