The unique magazine dedicated to advancing the integration of spiritual care in health care.

The HealthCare Chaplaincy Network (HCCN) published the Caring for the Human Spirit® magazine from 2014 through 2020. It established a clear voice for the inclusion of effective spiritual care as a standard of whole person care and for the profession of chaplaincy. Articles continue to guide spiritual care providers and other health care and ministry professionals who support individuals and their families, and offer insight to consumers facing these issues. Our goal is to prompt conversation, highlight a chaplain’s role as an integral part of the health care team, and help people obtain emotional and spiritual support throughout life, especially during illness, injury and grief.
